Observant viewers will notice that the main characters closely resemble Matt and I. This is not intentional. Lemon Demon, the brainchild of Neil Cicierega, first recorded the song in 2005, and Andrew Kepple created this video in 2006 for Valentine's Day, almost a year before Matt and I met, and almost three years before we found this video. Apparently we are the ideal form of the perfect nerd couple stereotype. We're cool with this. There are a bunch of very eerie similarities between the video and us, so it's hard not to feel an affinity to the video.
